Hurricanes Katrina, Rita & Wilma have had a profound and devastating effect on hundreds of thousands of lives. The Family International is actively involved with ongoing relief efforts throughout the affected areas in the Southeast US. Along with needed physical assitance, which many other organizations are also providing, there is a tremendous need for spiritual support and emotional comfort. This is our core mission.
Family missionaries utilise audio, video, drama, music, dance, devotional and inspirational materials and a wide variety of activities & programs to bring comfort, love and encouragement to those who have lost so much. Hope and faith in our loving God is a vital step in recovering from such a personal disaster.
